it is most likely they had experienced long term commitments and responsibility in their life. Because of their age, they are probably are not ready to repeat these long term responsibilities. For example raising young children again. Ideally they want companionship from time to time and when travelling or going out. Finding a partner from abroad involves long term relation and commitments. Yes they are attracted to lovely beautiful younger than them ladies on this site. But they know how impractical to travel and commit to ladies who may not even speak the same language. Although many ladies say they do not mind the big age difference they still expect their men's behaviour to be similar to those of their age. The young ladies want to have adventurous travel, play energetic sports and swim in the sea. They may have a much different taste of music and so on. Many ladies talk about love here. However love is the result of compatibility and similar expectation in life. Any love started will soon fizzle out if that is not the case. So may I suggest that expectation is discussed early on whether during correspondence and when meeting. This would help in avoiding future problems. Finally my golden rule is the man should be no more than 50% older than the girl's age.
